In October 2021, The Verdon Fosse® Legacy presented a world premiere trio of dances all originally performed by Gwen Verdon for television in the 1960s — and never before seen in succession. Historically, the trios are thought to have been choreographed by Bob Fosse®, but after much research and experience over the last decade or longer, Nicole Fosse believes these dances to be equally choreographed by Verdon and Fosse®. For the first time, Verdon was credited as co-choreographer and the collection of trios are now titled Sweet Gwen Suite. Their one mutual piece of art.

The trio was led by Georgina Pazcoguin, “Rogue Ballerina” and soloist with New York City Ballet, flanked by Tyler Eisenreigh and Zachary Downer. Khori Petinaud and Sam Faulkner served as alternates. Linda Haberman, who performed in Bob Fosse®’s Dancin’ and Pippin and served as assistant choreographer to Bob Fosse® on Big Deal, directed, reconstructed and provided additional choreography for Sweet Gwen Suite. New orchestrations and arrangements were provided by Lynne Shankel from the musical pieces of Herb Alpert, Lalo Schifrin and Johnny Mandel.
