Legacy Teachers
Our Verdon Fosse Legacy® teachers educate, coach, and reconstruct Bob Fosse®’s repertoire, technique, style, vocabulary, and work ethic with the original intent and integrity.
LLOYD CULBREATH:
BIG DEAL, DANCIN', SWEET CHARITY ('86), FOSSE, CHICAGO ('96 revival). Lloyd is a founding reconstructeur at The Verdon Fosse® Legacy. His recent projects include FX's "Fosse/Verdon" limited series, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, the Career Transition for Dancers' annual jubilee gala, the American Dance Machine for the 21st Century, the Lucia Marthas Institute for the Performing Arts in Amsterdam, and the Radio City Rockettes' Fosse® tribute.
VALARIE PETTIFORD:
BIG DEAL (dance captain), DANCIN', CHICAGO ('96 revival), FOSSE (Tony nomination). Valarie is a founding reconstructeur at The Verdon Fosse® Legacy. Her recent projects include FX's "Fosse/Verdon" limited series, the American Dance Machine for the 21st Century, and the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts in Amsterdam.
DANA MOORE:
DANCIN', SWEET CHARITY ('86), FOSSE, CHICAGO ('96 revival). Dana is a founding reconstructeur at The Verdon Fosse® Legacy. Her recent projects include FX's "Fosse/Verdon" limited series, the Career Transition for Dancers' annual jubilee gala, and the Radio City Rockettes' Fosse® tribute.
KATHRYN DOBY:
SWEET CHARITY ('66 Broadway + '69 film), PIPPIN (dance captain), "Cabaret," "All That Jazz." Kathryn served as assistant choreographer to Bob Fosse® on CHICAGO ('75) and DANCIN'. She has worked on projects with the American Dance Machine for the 21st Century and Pace University.

Protégés
The Verdon Fosse® Legacy Protégé Program serves as a comprehensive teacher-training for the next generation of reconstructeurs. Protégés study intensely with the Legacy and all of our teachers as well as exude a passion to preserve the work and work ethic of Bob Fosse® and Gwen Verdon.
